Sisters in the Brotherhood

Sisters in the Brotherhood is an integral part of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters, not a separate women’s union.

Our goal is to encourage women within our Regional Council to share, support and learn from each other’s experiences, use that knowledge to grow both personally and professionally, and become more actively involved at all levels.

Sisters in the Brotherhood is important to the future of our union, because we are the leaders, ambassadors and role models, who promote union carpentry as a career for more women.

Skill Advancement Classes
The Sisters in the Brotherhood committee would like to encourage all women to look for the new Skill Advancement Class schedule. There are a lot of new classes and keeping yourself updated with new skill makes you more marketable. These books are available at the training centers.
